Transfer Receipts
Window RECEIVED INTERNAL TRANSFERS
General Description

The window Received Internal Transfers is a module merely informational that shows the history of all merchandise transfers that this warehouse has received from other cost centers of the company. Like the Warehouse Receipts window, here new documents cannot be created nor edit the existing ones; its function is exclusively to consult, print, and analyze the already finalized transfers.
This window works as the proof of receipt of merchandise sent by other warehouses, allowing verification of the origin, the person responsible, and the content of each received transfer.
What is a Received Internal Transfer?
A Received Internal Transfer is the document that certifies the arrival of merchandise coming from another cost center (warehouse, branch, or location) of the same company. This document has particular characteristics:
It is an already closed document
All the transfers that appear in this window are completely finalized. You will not find in-process, pending, or draft transfers.
It is not editable
Once the transfer is received, the document is locked as a historical record of the movement.
It is already reflected in the system
All the items of these transfers are already recorded in the Kardex and the inventory already registers those units. This window is simply the documentary proof that the process has already been completed.
It has an identified origin
Each transfer clearly shows from which warehouse the merchandise came and who was responsible for sending it.
Window Structure
The window follows the standard pattern of all document list windows in Kardex Tauro:
Upper Zone - Search Box
Text box to search transfers by typing any data: document number, origin warehouse, product, date, or any information contained in the documents. The search is performed in real time.
Upper Central Zone - Master Grid
Shows the list of all received transfers with their main headers. It includes a very important special column:
Cost center that sends
This column indicates the origin of the transfer, that is, from which warehouse or branch the merchandise was sent. It allows quickly identifying where each shipment comes from.
Responsible employee or third party
Shows the name of the person who carried out the sending process from the origin warehouse. This allows knowing who was responsible for the transfer for any query or follow-up.
Other columns include: document number, date, total, status, and other header data.
Lower Central Zone - Detail Grid
When selecting a transfer in the upper list, this area shows the products that were received, with their code, name, received quantity, value, and other detail information.
Lower Zone - Action Button
A single button available: View Transfer.
View Transfer Button
This is the only action button at the bottom of the window. It allows opening the selected transfer in query mode (read-only), showing all its complete details.
Features:
- Opens the complete document with all its information.
- Shows the detail of products, quantities, and values.
- Identifies the origin warehouse and the person responsible for the shipment.
- Allows reviewing the document without the possibility of modifying it.
- Useful for detailed queries, audits, or information verification.
Context Menu
When right-clicking on any transfer in the upper list, a menu with the following options is displayed:
Export to Excel
Generates an Excel file with the visible transfers, respecting the applied filters and the column configuration. Opens a dialog to select the file location.
View Report
Shows the listed transfers in a professional report format, ready for review or export to PDF.
Print Transfer
Generates the physical document of the selected transfer, useful for filing or documentary support. Requires the Print Permission.
Filters
Allows applying advanced filtering criteria: by origin cost center, by responsible employee, by greater/lesser date, by value, by product. The filters can be combined to refine the search.
Remove Filters
Restores the complete view by removing all applied filters, showing all received transfers again.
Convert Document
Allows transforming the transfer into another type of document if the situation requires it.
Edit Notes
Allows adding or modifying observations to the transfer document.
Configure Columns
Customizes which columns are shown in the master grid and in the detail grid. It also allows you to adjust the column width. The system remembers this configuration when you close and reopen the window.
Important Window Features
Only shows finalized documents
All the transfers that appear in this window are completely finished and received. No transfers in transit, pending, or in the process of being sent will be found.
It does not allow creating transfers
There is no "New Transfer" button in this window. Internal transfers are created and executed from the Outbound Menu, in the window called Internal Transfers, which is where the origin warehouse sends the merchandise.
It is a destination window
While the "Internal Transfers" window (in the Outbound menu) is used to send send merchandise to other warehouses, this "Received Internal Transfers" window is used for view the merchandise that other warehouses have sent us.
Reflects operations between own cost centers
Transfers are internal movements between warehouses of the same company; they do not involve suppliers or external customers. That is why they do not generate accounts receivable or payable.
Automatic inventory update
When a transfer is received, the stock on hand is updated automatically: it decreases in the origin warehouse and increases in the destination warehouse (this one).
Relationship with the Internal Transfers Window (Outbound Menu)
It is essential to understand the relationship between these two complementary windows:
Internal Transfers Window (Outbound Menu)
- It is used to send merchandise to other warehouses.
- It is the operational window where transfers are created and executed.
- The current warehouse acts as origin of the shipment.
- Here the destination warehouse, the products, and quantities are selected.
- When completing the transfer, the merchandise leaves this warehouse's inventory.
Received Internal Transfers Window (this window)
- It is used to view the merchandise received from other warehouses.
- It is a purely informational window.
- The current warehouse acts as destination of the receipt.
- Shows the transfers that other warehouses have made to us.
- The merchandise is already in this warehouse's inventory.
Complete flow:
Warehouse A creates the transfer in its "Internal Transfers" window (Outbound menu) → The merchandise physically travels → Warehouse B sees the received transfer in its "Received Internal Transfers" window.
Practical Use of the Window
This window is especially useful for:
Verification of receipts
Confirm that the merchandise sent by other warehouses has arrived and has been correctly registered in the system.
Origin identification
Know exactly from which warehouse each product came, useful when queries or claims about the merchandise's condition need to be made.
Responsible party identification
Know which employee or third party made the shipment, facilitating communication if there are doubts about the content or condition of what was received.
Internal movement audit
Review the history of transfers between warehouses for logistics or distribution analysis.
Reconciliation between warehouses
Compare what one warehouse reports as sent with what this warehouse reports as received.
Distribution analysis
Understand the merchandise movement patterns between the different warehouses of the company.
Usage Recommendations
Use this window to verify receipts
When you know that another warehouse has sent you merchandise, check this window to confirm that the transfer has already been registered.
Take advantage of the origin column
Use the "Sending cost center" column to filter and analyze transfers by origin warehouse.
Identify the responsible party
The information about the employee responsible for the shipment is valuable for follow-up or resolving doubts about specific transfers.
Apply filters for analysis
If you need to see only the transfers from a period, a specific warehouse, or a particular product, use the filters to focus on what is relevant.
Print for documentary support
Keep physical files of the most important transfers as backup and support for audits or reconciliations.
Customize your view
Configure the columns that best adapt to your query needs, especially if you frequently work with transfers from multiple warehouses.
Do not try to create transfers here
Remember that this window is informational only. If you need to send merchandise to another warehouse, you must do it from the "Internal Transfers" window in the Outbound menu.
Coordinate with the origin warehouse
If you detect any discrepancy in a received transfer, use the information from the origin warehouse and the responsible employee to communicate and resolve the situation.
