The Kit/Combo type is strict: to sell it, the system requires ALL its components to be in stock, and on sale it automatically deducts from each one. If one cookie is missing, the combo does not sell. That avoids promising what you do not have.
The Production Line type is a theoretical guide: it is for bakeries and workshops that manufacture. It does not block the sale if material is missing, but it tells you how much you should spend and generates real vs theoretical consumption reports. That way you understand the real cost of each loaf.
