A Cost Center is each warehouse, shop or storage point you run. In the Cost Centers window you create 'Main Shop', 'North Branch', 'Cold Storage', and each one operates with its own inventory and documents, but inside the same system. You can move goods between them with Internal Transfers and the system records the exit from one and the entry in the other.
The powerful part is that each center keeps its own product location and its own Kardex, but you have global visibility. You know how much is in each site without making a phone call. And since it is a single database, a supplier, a customer or a product is created once and works everywhere.
The result is growing without losing control: opening the second store no longer means duplicating the chaos, but adding a new center that the system keeps ordered and connected to the rest.
